Aaron's First Real Fishing Boat

Aaron's dream finally came true! He got his first fishing boat (other than his 12 ft flat bottom). It is a custom built boat from F&F Custom Boats in Monticello. It's a dark charcoal gray color - 18ft with a 70HP motor. He's SO excited and can't wait to get it in the water. I'm so happy and excited for him and can't wait to get out in the water either. It'll be a fun summer on the lake!

Hunter's 3rd Birthday!

Today was Hunter's 3rd birthday! I can hardly believe it's been three years since my sweet baby boy was born - the day my life changed. He has been such a joy in our lives, we can't imagine one single day without him. We have watched him grow so fast in such a short amount of time, from an infant to a little boy. It's truly amazing - words cannot express how happy I am to be Hunter's mother. And I know that he is Daddy's pride and joy as well! We had a busy day today, he shares a birthday with several girls (Katie Hicklin (age 5), Abigail Crow (age 4) and Emilee Glenn (age 2). We went to Emilee's party at Larry's Pizza in Bryant at 11am and had a blast (she's such a cutie!). We got home around 2pm and started decorating the backyard for Hunter's party (Thomas & Friends) at 4pm. Daddy and Papaw finished the wooden swingset just in time!!! Hunter had lots of family and friends at his party - sometimes it can be overwhelming, but to see all the people that love Hunter is awesome and makes me happy. I am so glad I had Cherie Flowers (http://www.flowersphotography.blogspot.com/) take photos of his party, she got a lot of good shots of Hunter and ALL the kids - she took a thousand photos!!! Fun, fun day...

Harrison and Grayson

We got to see The Hart's (Jeff, Natosha and Grayson) last Saturday (3/14/09). We don't get to see them as often as we did (or like) since they moved to Monticello. Grayson is exactly 4 weeks older than Harrison. He is getting so big and he's the world to his mommy and daddy! We can't wait until they get a bit older, they are going to be best buds!

Harrison's 2 Month Checkup

Harrison had his 2 month checkup and shots on March 17th (St. Patrick's Day). He weighed 13lbs and 14oz (90th percentile)! And he was 23 inches long (75th percentile). He has gotten so big! He is doing so good, no problems at all. I couldn't have asked for a better baby! He did good with the shots, he did cry when he first got stuck, but it didn't take long for him to calm down. He ran a low grade fever, but after a lil' Tylenol and a warm bath he was sleeping like a baby. He was my little McCutie for the day in his green! Big brother Hunter came along and was a good boy, he too had his green on for the day - little Irish boy for the day

Little Mr. Big Pants

Ok, so we have a little boy that is becoming very independent and stubborn. He's still my perfect little boy, but sometimes I wonder where my perfect little angel went. When I am telling him something he doesn't want me to say, he'll go "Shut Up Momma, Shut Up". I was blown away when he first said this about a week ago! I couldn't figure out where he learned Shut Up! We don't say shut up in our house!!! Not only does he say shut up, but if I'm feeding Harrison and I interrupt whatever it is that he is doing, he'll say "Shut Up Momma, FEED THE BABY!". Whoa - what have we created!?! I finally figured out how he learned "shut up" - we tell Molly our barking dog to shut up. All makes since now... Last night we were driving home from Little Rock and Hunter was talking to me and Aaron was trying to say something to Hunter and Hunter said, "Shut up Dada, DRIVE!". Oh...what have we gotten ourselves into?!?!

What A Difference A Week Can Make

Wow, last Saturday was warm and we were playing at the park...today is cold, wet and rainy. Only in Arkansas! Last Saturday (3/7) we were gonna go to zoo (Free Day), but when we saw the traffic backed up on the interstate before the exit, we were like NO WAY! So we decided to take the kids (we had Jessica - Justin and Leslie's youngest with us) to Pinnacle Mtn to play on the playground. Chris and Deborah met us at the park. After a few hours, we went and had lunch at Razorback Pizza on Hwy 10 it was yummy.
